On September 19, the China Red Cross Foundation and the Gansu Red Cross Society held a Red Cross emergency rescue and automatic external defibrillator (AED) application experience exchange event in Zhangye, Gansu. Nearly 100 Red Cross emergency rescue business leaders, trainers and industry experts from Gansu Province, Shaanxi Province, Qinghai Province, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps and other places exchanged and interacted. Bei Xiaochao, Chairman of the China Red Cross Foundation, Yang Fangsheng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Full-time Vice President of the Gansu Red Cross Society, and Wang Wei, Head of the AED Business Department of Vivis, attended the event, which was hosted by Guo Yang, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Red Cross Foundation.
During the event, in order to further promote the high-quality development of the Red Cross emergency rescue business, the China Red Cross Foundation, Gansu Red Cross Foundation, Shaanxi Red Cross Foundation, Liaoning Red Cross Foundation and many AED brand companies including Suzhou Vivis Medical jointly signed and joined the “Red Cross Emergency Rescue Partner Network”, actively practicing the concept of “people first, life first”. Wang Wei, head of Suzhou VIS AED Division, shared the AED city three-dimensional solution with experts and industry partners.
The 3D three-dimensional rescue solution pioneered and implemented by VIS is an integrated collaborative layout of fixed-position AED, mobile AED, and drone AED. It scientifically plans the configuration of AEDs in the region, opens up a three-dimensional emergency channel from the ground to the air, and opens up a new dimension for pre-hospital emergency care for cardiac arrest with a new idea.
In the practical operation of this event, VIS also shared and demonstrated VIS’s latest generation of M series palm-sized AEDs to the experts and industry partners present. The features of AED were explained from its light and easy-to-carry appearance, single-threaded operation process, and unique portable rescue backpack configuration. The area covered by the palm-sized AED during the golden heart rescue time is 4-36 times that of traditional AEDs, and the people carrying AEDs usually receive orderly first aid training. Therefore, the promotion of palm-sized AEDs can greatly improve the efficiency of AED use.
In addition, AirAED of VIS also made its debut at this event. The drone equipped with M series mobile AED can rush to the rescue site in the first time to save the patient’s life. It has the characteristics of “fast, smart, accurate and stable”.
The experts and emergency rescue representatives who participated in the event experienced the palm-sized AED and AirAED brought by VIS on site, which made the teachers who came to interact break the previous cognition of AED equipment and truly feel the new development and new trend of emergency rescue technology and equipment.
In this event, Suzhou VIS Medical Technology donated AED training machines to representatives of some provincial Red Cross Foundations who attended the event. These devices will also be used in the pre-hospital emergency training of the Red Cross Societies of various provinces.
As an innovative medical enterprise focusing on the research and development of cardiac rhythm management medical devices and patient rhythm data services, VIS adheres to the vision of “Let every heart beat healthily!”, advocates the fashion of “Everyone learns first aid, first aid for everyone”, helps the construction of “Healthy China”, and contributes to the development of local emergency rescue.
