AED pads should be replaced before their expiration date, which is clearly indicated on the pad packaging. Over time, the gel on the pads can dry out, reducing their effectiveness. VIVEST AEDs monitor pad status and will issue an alert when the pads are nearing expiration or have expired, ensuring you're always prepared for emergencies.

X Series AED uses a non-rechargeable Lithium Manganese Dioxide (LiMnO₂) battery; The M Series AED comes standard with a disposable LiMnO₂ battery. For users who prefer reusable solutions, an optional rechargeable lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery is also available.

VIVEST X Series batteries last up to 5 years on standby; M series lasts 3 years. Self-check alerts notify when to replace.

The VIVEST X Series can deliver over 200 shocks at 150 joules, and the M Series up to 250 shocks at its maximum energy level. This ensures ample capacity during a single rescue or even multiple emergencies.

VIVEST AEDs automatically perform regular self-test. If the battery is low or the electrode pads are expired, the device will issue visual and/or audible alerts. You can also verify their status using the management software.
